Pilot Iroshizuku Ama Iro is a light blue that is close to Iroshizuku Kon Peki but Ams Iro is lighter and bright. The direct translation for the kanji characters in mandarin is the colour of the sky. I think the name suits the ink prefectly. Like the other Iroshizuku inks I hace reviewed, Ama Iro is well behaved and it has good shading. Though most Iroshizuku inks dries to a duller colour, Ama Iro retains its' vibrancy and remains eye catching. Dry time is slightly longer.
