I got a sample of Mont Blanc Blue Black from a local fellow fountain pen lover. That was many many months ago. Now I have finally inked it up. It’s a nice blue black ink. There isn’t too much in the way to make this ink stand out against other blue black inks. It shades nicely even in a Japanese fine nib. It goes from a dull matte grey-blue to a more vibrant dark blue. Dry time is very good on Kokuyo note book. Overall, it’s a pleasant blue black ink to use.
